from Hong Kong


I received this beautifully painted watercolor card from Marianne while she was in Hong Kong. the markings Kung Hei Fat Choy means "I wish you happiness and prosperity". I love this card from way across the world! It's beautiful and full of detail. Thank you Marianne!

  7. This card has really travelled the world.
    I took my things with me just in case I had a moment in Hongkong to paint but I didn't so I bought a stamp and made the card on board during the night when the other half of the crew had their rest. Than I asked one of my Chinese collegue if she could take it back to Hongkong with her so it could get mailed and stamped there. So backin Holland it went to Hongkong again to get mailed to Alaska!
