Postcards coming soon!

I finally got two postcards off in the mail...one is for Suki and one is for Caroline. I had created some other collage postcards last week and then when I tried to put something on to seal them so they wouldn't get messed up in the mail it ruined them. So I started over. I didn't like my collages anyway, I think I'll keep trying collage but for now I'm sticking to something I know I can do like drawing! ;) I'm impressed with those of you who collage - yours always look so pretty and together and it makes sense. I don't understand how you can pick and choose things and then glue it all down and it looks beautiful. Mine look like..., well let's just say they don't look as good as yours!

    collage is not a very comfortable art thing for me, yet whenever i start it, the card really makes itself, so i have decided to do all of mine in collage for this project eeeeek.

    I love to make collages but it's so messy!
    I'm sure yours were just fine patty. Sorry they got ruined :(

    I'm betting you are being too hard on yourself.
    But do whatever makes you most comfortable...there are no rules here. Right?

    Looking forward to your post card. I too almost ruined two of mine by painting acrylic gloss medium on top to seal them. the cards ended up curing and I couldnt flatten them even under a brick. Finally one got flat but the other I'm not using right now.

    My first cards are just scribbles on paper-and I felt bad when I saw some of the others-but you know what-I was thinking about the person when I scribbled and what they might like-and that is the real magic.
